Job Description

We are partnering with our client to identify a Medical Malpractice Defense Paralegal or Nurse Paralegal to join one of the Valley’s most established defense firms in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation support professional seeking a stable, team-oriented environment with meaningful case involvement and long-term growth potential.


Position: Medical Malpractice Defense Paralegal / Nurse Paralegal

About the Role

This role supports attorneys handling complex medical malpractice defense matters and requires significant experience with medical chronologies, discovery, disclosures, and expert coordination.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing medical records and litigation deadlines in a fast-paced defense environment.


Responsibilities

  • Draft and organize medical chronologies and case summaries
  • Prepare and manage disclosure statements and discovery responses
  • Coordinate with medical experts and litigation vendors
  • Review, analyze, and organize medical records
  • Assist with trial preparation and litigation support
  • Manage deadlines, filings, and case documentation
  • Communicate with attorneys, experts, and clients throughout the litigation process

Qualifications

  • 3 years of medical malpractice defense paralegal experience preferred
  • Strong experience with:
    • Medical chronologies
    • Discovery and disclosures
    • Expert coordination
    • Medical record analysis
  • Nurse paralegal backgrounds highly encouraged
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $65,000 &- $85,000 DOE
  • Nurse paralegal candidates may command higher compensation
  • In-office role preferred
