The individual in this position will support Valleywise's value-based performance by reviewing multiple data sources to identify opportunities for performance improvement, studying current workflows, developing improvement strategies, supporting the enactment of those strategies across multiple Valleywise departments, measuring the effectiveness of those improvement strategies over time, and making adjustments as needed.
Annual Salary Range: $89,897.60 - $132,600.00
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (10 years of performance improvement experience in a Medicaid managed care environment).
Experience:
-
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HEDIS performance improvement, clinical process improvement, and/or workflow support in a healthcare environment.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Medicaid managed care environment.

Thorough understanding of HEDIS measures and Medicaid managed care, preferably AHCCCS.

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of healthcare including financial data, operational data, and healthcare terminology.
Certification/Licensure:

Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Develop and execute formal process improvement strategies of varying size, duration, and complexity based on organizational needs and priorities.

Integrate data from multiple sources to form a comprehensive understanding of complex processes and workflows.

Proactively identify performance improvement opportunities through analysis and discussion with subject matter experts.

Introduce new ideas and processes to improve health system efficiency and VBP performance.

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with providers, administration, clinic staff, and external partners.

Partner with Valleywise leadership, VBP Workgroup, and other stakeholders to build relationships that support successful process improvement implementation.

Serve as a care transformation change agent by creating a shared vision and fostering partnerships characterized by open communication and trust.

Collaborate on development, execution, and implementation of VBP contracts, including the identification of benefits and risks of various VBP structures and requirements.
