Represents GA-ASI at customer training events, will be the primary focal point for real time technical support, to ensure mission readiness of GA aircraft systems. Manages sustainment of deployed aircraft and ground systems, leading on-site maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Supports information requests from partners, including customer engineering and program leadership. Contributes to technical trade studies that feed into long range planning of system configuration, and technology roadmap. Interfaces with GA functional engineering teams in support of technical investigations. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of a bachelor's degree and nine or more years of professional engineering/military technical experience and/or professional in-depth engineering/military documentation experience. In addition, must have two or more years of management/customer interface. Equivalent professional engineering/military technical experience or military operations and maintenance experience may be substituted in lieu of education/training. Must demonstrate a comprehensive and thorough understanding of the engineering/military principles underlying the technology, an excellent working knowledge of the engineering development process, and a thorough understanding of logistic support analysis, principles and procedures. Ability to work both independently and lead in a team environment is essential. Ability to work extended hours and travel as required. Ability to obtain a maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
